Our programming and activities are designed to help our youth reach their goals and fulfill their highest potential. Who We Are
Paving the Way to a Brighter Future
Children have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At J.O.S.H FOUNDATION, we are here to give them the support they need in order to shape them into leaders of the future. The J.O.S.H. FOUNDATION stands for Jaded Of Senseless Homicides. It was named after a beloved son and brother Joshua Hunter who lost his life to gun violence May 2018. Joshua was a student athlete graduated from Saint Xavier College in Chicago Illinois. Joshua began to give back to the youth in his community as a football and wrestling Coach as well as a mentor to the youth. He held a NAIA Championship ring and a NAIA Semifinals

J.O.S.H FOUNDATION empowers youth in the greater Chicagoland area to reach their fullest potential through a wide range of services. The Scholarship program is to motivate youth to be student athletes and to understand the importance of education and life preservation. Each year at least two students will be awarded the JOSH 28 SCHOLARSHIP an eight-grader and a high-school senior.
